Closed Spelter Socket| Wire Rope Spelter Sockets S/G-417

Closed Spelter Socket is used for wire rope connection. Spelter poured socket installation will be easy to handle than wedge sockets. The sockets are made from high tensile steel for maximum holding strength. Spelter socket terminations fit for wire rope(dia from 6mm to 167mm) of 6 x 7, 6 x 19 or 6 x 37, IPS or XIP (EIP) , XXIP (EEIP), RRL, FC or IWRC.

Material: high tensile steel
Finish: hot dipped galvanized, Painting or upon request.
Temperature Range: -40°C up to +200°C.
Standard: Federal Specification RR-S-550E/EN 13411-6.
Easy for installation.
Packing: Carton with pallet.
Rope Sizes: 1/4 to 4″, or 6 to 102mm.
Bespoke sizes are available.
Applications: Attaching steel wire rope.

The drawing illustrates one groove used on sockets 1/4” through 3/4”. Sizes 7/8” through 1-1/2” use 2 grooves. Sizes 1-5/8” and larger use 3 grooves.
